Tournament Details:
Long Sword Tournament (Cut & Thrust):
The tournament will be a double elimination event: Protection gear and long swords will be available for loaners. If you are not yet authorized for Cut & Thrust, then this is great opportunity to get authorized for this martial fighting style. Senior Marshals will be available for authorization. A bye fighter will be assigned as the dreaded Jabberwocky!
Great Sword Tournament (Heavy Armored):
The tournament will be a double elimination event: Bring your own great swords. The great swords must be 6ft and under, any longer will be rejected. A bye fighter will be assigned as the dreaded Jabberwocky!
Melee Style Tournament, or is it?
Each combatant draws a card from the deck (poker cards), the color of the card will determine which team will be assigned to. This will start the initial melee combat, Red versus Black! The winning color will fight among themselves in melee teams decided by the deck of cards while the losing color will do the same. Each loss from this point on will be eliminated until there is only one from each color, Red versus Black!! (This Tournament will only occur if time permits)
