Some of you may remember waaaay back in June that a Canton wide embroidery challenge was issued. Due to Covid complications and SOMEONE for getting the trophy (heh…it was me…), there was a delay in choosing a winner. I am proud to announce that the first ever Canton of Summergate Arts and Science challenge winner was choosen at the September populace meeting.
Without further ado, Congragulations to Dýrfinna nátsól Bresadóttir for her outline stitch of Hugin on a hood!
Message from our Seneschal: Congratulations—we know you’ve been working so hard to pretty up your garb, and your time and effort is clearly showing!
Other honorable mentions include Dushenka’s satin stitch butterfly on a washcloth and Carrie’s chain stitch ocean on a pillowcase.
Thank you to all who participated!! We hope to see even more participants for our next Arts and Sciences challenge!
